Hollywood Wax Museum is one of the most noticeable landmarks on Branson’s famous Strip! The building boasts a replica of the iconic New York skyline, complete with the Empire State Building and a huge ape scaling it...wait, an ape? Yep, this museum is easily one of Branson’s most photographed sites, especially the enormous figure of King Kong towering over Highway 76 - guests to the museum can even get their picture taken while clutched in the big monkey’s paw! Once inside, you’ll discover the museum’s most treasured artifacts, the only all-celebrity collection of wax figures in the country.
You’ll encounter television and movie stars so life-like, you might be tempted to ask for an autograph! You’ll come face-to-face with today’s huge stars, including Johnny Depp, Jamie Foxx, Will Smith, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jennifer Garner. You’ll also discover your favorite stars who are no longer with us, like the brilliant Charlie Chaplin, the vivacious and curvaceous Marilyn Monroe, the ruggedly handsome John Wayne, and the man whose passing hasn’t seemed to keep him from ‘takin’ care of business,’ the King of Rock & Roll, Elvis Presley!
It’s a blast to pose for photos with celebrities at the Hollywood Wax Museum - they’re so accommodating, and they really don’t mind how many pictures you take of them! Hollywood Wax Museum is located at 3030 West 76 Country Boulevard.
The Museum is open daily from 8:00 a.m. until Midnight during the Summer season. It’s open until 8:00 p.m. during January and February, and until 10:30 p.m. on weekdays during the Spring and Fall seasons.
The Hollywood Wax Museum is accessible to guests with disabilities.
