Parents and grandparents might be happy to take a leisurely stroll through all the beauty of the Butterfly Palace & Rainforest, and the kids will thoroughly enjoy this immersive attraction. They can gear up with a real pith helmet, kid-sized binoculars, and a magnifying glass - all provided by the Butterfly Palace - and more actively examine their enchanting environment! While taking a self-guided tour, you can watch an informative video about butterflies, a 3-D film about the butterfly’s life, and a documentary of the amazing Monarch Migration, a species we’re all trying hard to protect!
Thousands upon thousands of butterflies are imported from around the world under strict USDA control, for their protection and that of the wildlife in the US, to their new home in the Butterfly Palace & Rainforest Adventure. But butterflies aren’t the only creatures you’ll encounter on your visit...the Living Rainforest Science Center is home to sweet and slithering salamanders, vividly-colored poison dart frogs, giant cockroaches, and even real geckos, the kind that behave like proper animals - not the fake kind that pitch insurance on television! You’ll be able to get up-close-and-personal views of these captivating creatures while they’re kept in an environment that’s safe for them and for you! Check out specimens at the light microscope display, or take a peek inside a frog with the virtual dissection kiosk - a much more pleasant experience than a typical science class project. And you just have to meet Harry the blue-tongued skink! In addition to these freakishly fascinating creatures, the Butterfly Palace is home to a collection of brilliantly colored birds.
Other areas of the Butterfly Palace include the Emerald Forest Mirror Maze, where you’ll feel what it’s like under the thick canopy of tropical growth in the rainforest, and the Banyan Tree Adventure that houses a Magic Pond and India’s national tree - the Banyan. You’ll be amazed at all the twisted and tangled roots of this replica tree; it looks so incredibly real, and guests can climb all over and around it! There’s also a large gift shop filled with fun gifts and souvenirs!

The attraction is open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. seven days a week.
Your all-day admission includes unlimited access to everything, including the Costa Rica Butterfly Farm documentary, the Banyan Tree Bungee Adventure, the Living Rainforest Science Center, the Emerald Forest Mirror Maze, and the Exotic Butterfly Aviary.
There is a gift shop on site.
The White Flight exhibit takes place from November 1 through mid-January.

Christmas
The Butterfly Palace & Rainforest Adventure is offering a new holiday tradition for everyone who loves this incredible slice of nature lovingly preserved and nurtured in a gorgeous indoor environment. For Branson’s extended Christmas holiday season - it covers all of November and December - the fluttering, flittering, and fantastically beautiful butterflies will be flying among twinkling, glittering holiday lights while live Christmas music is perfectly played on a hammered dulcimer...it’s pure enchantment for young and young-at-heart alike! There’s also an enormous 18-foot-tall poinsettia tree; constructed of hundreds of poinsettia plants, it’s a delightful photo opp. You can also gather the family in front of the Living Angel Statue - just watch the little ones when they realize this statue is not a big piece of concrete art! Other features include butterfly releases, critter encounters, and a butterfly ornament craft table - what a totally unique and fun way to experience Christmas in Branson, and it’s only at the Butterfly Palace & Rainforest Adventure!
