A Murder Mystery cast that has you squealing with laughter, the hilarious hi-jinks that have you wantin’ to jump in and join ‘em (and no worries on that front either - the cast isn’t complete until a few members of the audience have been recruited to make complete fools of them...uh, we mean, recruited to display their award-worthy acting chops,) and a scrumpdillyicious meal to make your belly smile as big as your face...what more could ya want? This fascinating look into the real history of Branson - let’s say, kinda sorta “real” history of Branson - takes place when everyone’s preparin’ for the town vote...suddenly, a mysterious death has these good folks puzzled, and the story unfolds as sanity slips away and the guns start shootin’, the trains start whistlin’, and folks start yellin’ their fool heads off, and you’ve never had a better time at the theater! But watch out, volunteering to participate could lead to your face endin’ up on the WANTED poster for murder!
Starting November 1st the Branson Murder Mystery Dinner Theater presents their Christmas Show “Murder by Eggnog”. This knee-slapping show gives you another hilariously live dinner theater experience this Christmas! “Murder by Eggnog” takes place in Branson somewhere around 1898. Everyone is getting ready for the Christmas Pageant when there is suddenly a mysterious death. This is where the story and insanity begins! Additional Information/Helpful Hints
Branson Murder Mystery Dinner Theater presents Murder at the Audition at the Majestic Theatre.
The theatre is located at 2849 Gretna Road.
It’s an approximately two-hour show that’s family-friendly and suitable for all ages.
Still photography is permitted during Murder at the Audition.
Dinner is available when the doors open at 4:15 p.m., and the show begins at 5:00 p.m.

Can’t Stop Laughing
The plentiful meal was good, but the show was EXCELLENT! Sadie was the star of the show, and the way she and the sheriff kept going off script made the show the best. Clean, family fun that kept us in stitches. It’s great fun when they include several from the audience, too.

A must see show
This show is hilarious, my wife was crying from laughing so hard. The meal was the best I've had in Branson and the show is a solid 2 hours long after the meal so you can enjoy the entire show without missing any of it because of the servers or other customers eating. Loved the actors they made the show so great and audience participation was funny. They adlibbed so much of the show, not a script, that they would just read the lines from.

Great time!
This was our first murder mystery theater experience. It will be hard to top it! The food and actors were great. Loved all the plays on words and friendly actors and staff. Would recommend this to anyone!

Great entertainment
First time seeing this and my family and I thought it was a great show .we all were had a wonderful time .I laughed so hard I cried,I would highly recommend you be a good sport and join in the fun ,too get the full effect of the show. All of the cast were great and very approachable and friendly.Will definitely go back in the future.

Hillarious!
I read other reviews that were poor and dated over a year ago, but I would definitely give it a 5 star. So thumbs up for the improvements. The buffet was great. Fried chicken, 2 kinds of meatloaf, a nice salad bar and other sides to choose from, dessert and drinks included. The actors were great. It started out slow because the setting of a murder mystery dinner is different than a complete cast performance, but it evolved into a great show with great humor and entertainment. They did a great job with allowing volunteers from the audience to take on a role. The audience participants, who volunteered, obviously enjoyed acting and did a great job. So go with an open mind that it is a different environment than sitting down to a regular show.

Murder Under the Mistletoe
We were there for the Christmas murder mystery. The food was good, especially the chicken. The pulled pork is usually my choice, but this was too dry and tasteless. We got to be Kay Marte and Walt Marte in the play. Two of our four friends were also chosen. One was Johnny Deep. Ken solved the murder, but someone else got the prize. If you are going to choose when multiple people get it right, you should let us know. We kind of wondered what happened?

Branson Murder Mystery Dinner Show was well done. The buffet meal was well presented, moved quickly, and tasted good. Two options were available of pork and chicken or you could have both. Sides were salad, potatoes, mac & cheese, rolls and green beans. 3 kinds of cobbler were available for desert and lemonade and tea to drink. If you went away hungry, it was your own fault. The actors and actresses did a good job at getting audience participation and kept us guessing who the murderer was until the very end. I have been to 2 other murder mystery dinner shows in the past and this one tops the others. Very nice evening.

Awesome
My wife and I did not know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed the food and the relaxed atmosphere. My wife was selected as an audience participant and received rave reviews from some of those in attendance. We highly recommend this show.

Fun evening
We enjoyed the show and also the buffet style dinner. The performers were funny and very interactive. They drew the audience in, not only the ones with assigned parts, but included everyone.We would recommend the show to anyone interested in a fun, entertaining evening.

Do. Not. Do. It.
So, let's just start out by saying that I have seen my fair of shows that weren't the best, but I could at least sit through them. This one, not even close. My husband and I left after intermission...we somehow managed to stay for over an hour and a half. It was about 100 bucks for both of us to go...and it wasn't even close to worth it. Buffet food with a whopping 5 items on folding tables. There were foam plates and plastic silver. You could have water or tea to drink...very disappointing. The actors forgot their lines multiple times. It was supposed to start at 4 and they said multiple times that we couldn't start till 5 (for whatever reason) and then one actor said we would start, and then went back stage and we heard another (very rude) actor say "Well, we are NOT starting till 5, so!" (Her mic was supposed to be off.) So, the audience just sat there staring at each other for about 30 minutes. Then, once it began, we couldn't even follow the story. Overly cheesy, overly unorganized. And I tried to sit through it with an opened mind. There are tons of great shows in Branson, don't make the mistake we did, and miss out on a good show by seeing this awful thing for an awful amount of money!!!

Terrible Show
I can't believe we paid $40 per person for something worse than a high school play. The awful temporary decor is equal only to the screeching by the main actress. Can't follow the plot, don't care enough to try. My son had chanted "murder mystery!" so we selected this over the Dixie Stampede - huge mistake.

Don't waste your time or money
No trip to Branson would be complete without going to at least one or two shows. Wished we had picked another show. The address on our tickets was for their old address not the new address. We arrived at the old address to find the parking lot empty and the building being remodeled into something else. They are now in a convention room of the "White House". This was a sign of things to come. The room was set up with folding tables and chairs and a plastic table cloth. There was a buffet line in back also on folding tables. They had foam plates and cups instead of real plates and glasses.The food was fair at best. The show was very average community theater. I enjoy going to small community theater but when I end up paying the same price as going to a Dixie Stampede or Branson Belle I expect more. The only bright spot was the actor really were trying to make this a good show. We purchased our tickets from Vacations Made Easy. Which turned out to be not easy and they over charged our group. The ticket takers could not give a refund and said I need to contact Vacation Made Easy When I booked the tickets, I was told we would be placed in the center and paid more for better seating. We when arrived, there was not assigned seating and could not see half of the show. Vacations Made Easy called me several time before our trip to try to sell me more shows and timeshare tours. Thank goodness I resisted. With such selection is shows in Branson, try something else!

Such a Great Time! We loved it. Interactive and hilarious.
This was the 2nd time we have visited Branson and this show was the best one yet. This was interactive and so much fun to watch. The food was excellent and plenty of it. I highly suggest this show to anyone.

Great family fun and entertainment. There is plenty of parking available. The self serve buffet was hot and waiting for our arrival. Seating is assigned and on your ticket. The show was funny and involved the entire audience. There were audience members that were selected to read a scripted dialogue as part of the show as you try to discover who the killer is. There were also cast songs and funny sing along times in the show. It is family friendly entertainment. The venue can support large groups so bring your extended family and friends. Well worth attending! This is a fun roughly 3 hour event.

Buffet and show were a great value. Sides were amazing and the meatloaf was good. Was expecting fried chicken but it was baked. The show itself was hillarious. The script is very fluid which allows for every night being different. Its obvious the actors are really in sync with each other which allows for the adlibs to just flow naturally. Laughs for the whole family. A wonderful entertainment choice for people visiting with multigenerational families. Highly recommended!!!

We had an absolute blast at Branson Murder Mystery! The comedy was nonstop and the audience participation made the entire experience so much fun from beginning to end. Every actor was amazing and kept the crowd engaged, but Sadie especially had me laughing so hard I was in tears! The energy, humor, and interaction made this one of the most entertaining shows we’ve seen in Branson. Definitely a must-see if you’re visiting the area!

This was an awesome dinner show. The staff were very friendly, courteous and funny. We didn’t realize the staff were actually the performers. Very hard workers. The food was delicious and plentiful. Baked chicken, meatloaf, green beans, dinner rolls, salad bar, mashed potatoes, gravy, and 2 different types of desserts that are included in the price. There’s lots of great seats and the audience are part of the show. Very interactive and funny. Recommended!
