The Shepherd of the Hills announces the famous Million Dollar Quartet Show coming June 2025 to the Playhouse Dinner Theater. Shepherd of the Hills is pleased to bring this rock’n’ roll senseation back to the Branson area. They are excited to have several of the same cast members from the show at Welk theatre returning to the new production. The show will include a meal, exact offering to be annouced. The show starts April 21st and runs through November 21st, ending the season with a rocking New Year’s Eve show. Showtimes vary from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This smash hit, based on the Tony award winning production, takes you back to 1956 in the Sun Records Studios when Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis actually came together for the greatest jam session in music history. Million Dollar Quartet takes you behind the scenes and puts you in the middle of the action as these four musicians, who became legends, returned to the studio of legendary producer, Sam Phillips, the man who invented Rock’n’roll. It is equal parts stage drama and foot-tapping live performance with hits like “Great Balls of Fire”, “Hound Dog”, “I Walk the Line”, “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On”, and more. We’re serving up a delicious dinner while enjoying an unforgettable night of Rock’n’Roll!

Million Dollar Quartet
Very well done! The show we saw was great! The actors were not only believable as to their characters but sounded incredibly like the true artists. Their movements and mannerisms were exact.(Maybe even better) It contained a good amount of music but we do wish they had sang just a few more as you never seem to get enough when this good.

Can't Get Enough
We have seen this show several times and can't seem to get enough of this wonderful experience. It is as entertaining and intriguing as the first time we saw the show.. The nostalgia is unbelievable and the talent is just as great. You will not be disappointed and you sure won't be bored!

Million Dollar Quartet
Good show the entertainers did a good job. Really enjoyed the show this was our third best show in Branson while we was there for a week. Tells the story of how all four acts got together for a recording early in their careers. Great job guys thanks for the memories, and Pictures.

Awesome Show!
I thought this was a new show but reading the reviews, it's been around awhile. I can't believe we hadn't seen it before this year. Anyhow, it was a truly wonderful show. The characters sounded very much like the original artists. What an amazing talent in the character who play Jerry Lee Lewis. This show is in the form of a play, depicting how Sun Records was an influence on the careers of Johnny Cash, Elvis, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis. We learned some facts that we didn't know about these stars. Well done!! Thoroughly enjoyable show.

Enjoyed the show!!

History Lesson - Good Show - More Singing Needed
This was a good history lesson on the Quartet and acted out excellent. Just wished their had been more singing by the actors. Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis were full of energy the whole show and was outstanding. The ushers were nice and courteous with the seating and theater good.

The show we saw was great! The actors were very believable as their characters and sounded incredibly like the true artists. Their movements and mannerisms were exact. This is in the form of a play. A few in our group were not aware of that. It contained a decent amount of music but I do wish they has sang just a few more songs. It was about two hours in length with no intermission. Very well done!!!!! Would definitely see it again. Actors came out after the show for pictures and autographs. They were very personable and friendly.

Great Show!
My wife and I had wanted to see Million Dollar Quartet for a while and finally took the time to see it this past weekend. It was excellent! The show is performed in a play like fashion, almost like a loose re-enactment. The back-story and history of the original event is really interesting. The performers did a great job with their impersonations and singing. We were very entertained and I highly recommend this show if you are a fan of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, or Carl Perkins.

A must see
Since I have a CD of the original recording session, I couldn't wait to see this live show. It was fantastic, the character portrayals were spot on. This is a very talented group of performers who are having a great time. I really liked the story of how this historical session happened being told along with the music and facts about the individuals themselves. This is indeed the story of a great moment in rock and roll history. Having the Sam Phillips character doing the narration added a note of authenticity to the show. This is a high energy show and one of the best I have seen in many years in Branson.

This show is a hidden gem in Branson. The talent is top quality. It is in a small venue so the audience is close to the stage. The audience was rocking to the the music and the kids loved it too. The dinner food was ok and reasonably priced, served efficiently by pleasant servers. I believe that dinner is optional. If you love early rock and roll this is a must see!

The show was awesome! Loved the musical performances incorporated with theater. All of the talent did wonderful impersonating the artists. The actor portraying Sam Phillips was stellar! Honestly, this is one of the better shows we have seen in Branson for the price we paid! We'll worth the $ and the show was over two hours. We even got an encore and some friendly audience interaction.

This show was phenomenal! As a GenX’er with Boomer Parents who loved Elvis and Johnny Cash — I sang along to almost all of the songs. The guy who played Jerry Lee Lewis was PHENOMENAL on the piano! They all sang and seemed to be playing the instruments! They were good! Loved the story and the acting was great too!
