Retromania was very nostalgic for us folks born in the 70s or 80s. Tons of video games, movie references and props, and a few other fun things to do (mini golf, haunted room). All in all, if you don't take your time, there's not a ton to see. Kinda pricey for what it is, but it's worth a visit if you want to relive the past for a little while. This is one I would call a one and done.

We were reluctant to come here due to the “hyped up” nature of Branson. That, combined with the negative reviews made it a gamble for our family of four. That said, it was awesome! For around $125, we got an escape room, Putt-Putt, unlimited free arcade games, a haunted room and some awesome ambience. For us, it was “how can we stay cool” and “how can we spend the least possible and get the most amount of time out of something”. This was well worth it. We did the Back to the Future themed escape room. Awesome. Tons of arcade games, like the original Donkey Kong and many others (probably 20-30 in total). Putt Putt was fun and lots of cool themed stuff around. The old school TV area with the couch was a nice touch. And the diner had great food (with cool themes - we got the Spaceballs to start and a few other meals). All of the staff we met was very nice, including the guy running the escape rooms. Very good at giving hints. The bad: - Guys, turn on some air conditioning! It was way too hot in there. In our Back to the Future escape room, it was miserable and definitely made it hard to focus. The bathrooms are 100 degrees. Everything upstairs is uncomfortable. - Clean the toilets in the upstairs men’s bathroom. And replace everything. One toilet had 10% of the water it should have. The other was overflowing and had poop all over it. Nasty. The water barley worked. - Our Back to the Future escape room had some inconsistencies. I won’t explain them here to not give anything away, but the way things plug in or attach was not consistent. - Get the broken arcade games running. The “not bad” but “hey, you should know”: - You guys have a bit of an identity crisis. A lot of 80’s themed stuff. But, then you mix in some that’s not. Example: the TV’s in the diner. Some are 80’s tube TV’s, but there are a few flat tube TV’s too (one Insignia and one Emerson). Get rid of those! Also, lots of mixed eras. While The Simpsons are “technically” the 80’s.. most associate it with the 90’s. Mortal Combat? That’s 90’s. And the Atari in the bar… that’s 70’s! I’d suggest that you guys either expand to other eras (my suggestion) or really do a better job honing in on the 80’s. Personally, the 80’s alone doesn’t interest me… but the 90’s does! Glad to see some cool 90’s stuff too. - Several of the arcade games have broken buttons, although they weren’t marked as “Out of Order”. Get someone in to replace them.

This was such a cool place! The mini golf was pretty fun and the haunted house was actually pretty scary. My 15-year-old daughter loved it. I did not, lol. Everything was really awesome though and it was like a time warp back to the 80s and I absolutely loved it. I wish there was more PeeWee Herman content, but regardless, we had a blast here and the next time we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely make a trip in. My daughter was named after Lydia Deetz, so we especially appreciated the Beetlejuice collection! I really like how when you buy a ticket, it can get you in for two days, so if you don’t have time to do everything in one day, you can go again another day. We don’t get to the the VR adventure or an escape room, but we will definitely be checking those out next time!

My kids had the best time. My favorite was the putt putt golf with 80s rock playing. I could've stayed in there the whole time. There was a haunted house and retro video games as well as wax figures. This was fun for all of us.

First off, really good service and great burgers. The escape room was fun and not overly challenging. Free arcade! Lots of cool memorabilia. Good vibe. Heaps of nostalgia. I especially liked the little 80s "living room" set upstairs, if only they had a Nintendo hooked up. The only downside is that the place seems to be starting to show its age a bit. Just needs a bit of polish around the edges. Staff was great. Don't hesitate to grab a bite to eat here. I'll definitely stop back again next time I make it back to Branson.
